These Terms & Conditions are applicable to all Contracts of any kind made by Quinta do Pinheiro – Proventures II, LDH Portugal (the Company), and its Clients, and apply to all reservations, bookings and agreements for accommodation, dining, workshops, retreats and use of all services at Quinta do Pinheiro (the quinta).

RESERVATIONS, PAYMENTS AND Cancellations

What is your reservation and price policy?
To confirm your reservation a deposit of 30% of the total stay cost is required at the time of booking.
If you rent a single house, the remaining balance is due in full 30 days before the arrival date. Reservations for a single house made within 30 days of arrival, require full payment at the time of booking.
If you rent the whole farm, the remaining balance is due in full 6 weeks before the arrival date. Reservations for the whole farm within 6 weeks of arrival, require full payment at the time of booking.
Furthermore a security deposit of €500/house is required upon arrival. This will be refunded within 7 days of departure, provided no damage is found in the accommodation.

What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel or amend your reservation for a single house, up to 30 days before the arrival date. A reservations for the whole farm can be canceled or amended up to 6 weeks before the arrival date. You will receive a full refund of any payment made minus a 3% processing fee. If you cancel your reservation later, the total amount of your intended stay will be charged.

In case of no show or early departure, the stay will be fully charged. Any cancellation should be requested using the email reservations@quintapinheiro.com citing ‘request for cancellation’.

Some programmes/retreats/workshops have their own cancellation conditions.

How can I amend a reservation?
To amend a reservation, please send an email to reservations@quintapinheiro.com citing ‘request to amend reservation’.

How can I cancel a reservation?
To cancel a reservation, please send an email to reservations@quintapinheiro.com citing ‘request to cancel reservation’.

What is your cancellation policy for activities provided by external suppliers?
Activities provided by suppliers external to Quinta do Pinheiro (e.g.: yoga, horseback riding, stand up paddling, bike rental, kayaking, boat trips, among others), can be cancelled or amended according to the suppliers own terms and conditions. The manager can provide you more information. Please send your question to manager@quintapinheiro.com.

Check-in and Check-out

What time is check-in?
Check-in time is anytime after 4 pm (16h00).

What time is check-out?
Check-out time is anytime before 12 pm (12h00).

I arrive late in the evening; will it be possible to check-in?
If we know it in advance, we can facilitate late arrivals and check-ins.

I arrive early in the morning. Will it be possible to check-in early?
Our standard check-in time is anytime after 4pm (16h00), but in case you arrive earlier you are of course mostly welcome to leave your luggage in our luggage store. An early check-in may be possible. Please check with the manager at manager@quintapinheiro.com.

Is it possible to check-out late?
If you want to retain your room after 12 noon (12h00), please check with the manager.

Services

Can I add an extra bed?
It is the policy of Quinta do Pinheiro not to have extra beds due to the unique features of our property. However, in the Chapel room of Casa Celeiro it is possible to add 1 bed for the additional cost of 50 euro per night. Children up to 4 years of age can stay in the same room as the parents, in a cot, at no extra costs (these options should be requested in advance and are subject to availability).

Is Quinta do Pinheiro pet friendly?
Quinta do Pinheiro is renovated with human beings in mind. Although we love them, other animals are not considered as residents of the quinta. In very rare cases we make an exception. Please contact the manager at manager@quintapinheiro.com.

Is Quinta do Pinheiro child friendly?
The quinta is not renovated with small children in mind. We prioritized the original charm and architectural beauty, parents or other adults should be aware of possible risks. The watertank and the mini-pool from Casa d’Avó are not supervised. Roof terraces and steep stairs (the stairs in the Chapel room of Casa Celeiro has no handrail) are also not designed with children in mind. Old farm tools are no toys. The quinta is not responsible for any accidents that occurs in and around the farm.

What are the pool’s rules?
The pools are not supervised. Children should be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times, in and around the pool area. We ask our guest to shower before entering the pool. Diving is not allowed. Inflatable mattresses and buoys are not allowed. For safety reasons, glass objects are not allowed throughout the pool area. Quinta do Pinheiro is not responsible for any accident that occurs in these areas.

Can I use the yoga/pilates room free of charge?
If the yoga/pilates room is not being used by one of our teachers, the room can be used free of charge. Please ask the manager for the use of mats or props.

What to I do if I lose a key?
In case of key loss, please inform the manager as soon as possible. Our team wil do its utter best to help you find it. In case of loss, an additional cost of 35 euro will be charged. Always remember to deliver the key when you check-out.

What to do if I break something?
We selected our furniture, interior decorations and table ware with attention. Please inform the manager in case of damage or loss, so we can repair or complete it. In case of misbehavior the guest can be held responsible.

General

The quinta is is not responsible for the damage or loss of money, jewels or other valuables. Every room has a safe. We recommend to store your valuables in the safe. Use of the room safe does not mean Quinta do Pinheiro is liable.

CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) in the public areas of the quinta may be in operation and video recordings may be made. This is done for security and service reasons.
